Eufaula Lake...
...is the largest lake in Oklahoma.  Located on the Canadian River, 27 miles upstream from it's confluence with the Arkansas River.  It has over 102,000 surface acres.  I have averaged 32 keepers (the limit is 37) per person, per trip in 2005. The average size has been 11.5 inches.  Lake Eufaula is so big that it has clear, murky, stained and muddy water at all times.  No matter what type of structure or water you like to fish - you can find it at Eufaula.  Clients caught 85 crappie over 16 inches in 2005.  Also caught were 16 Smallmouth over 5 pounds each.  The average Crappie trip yielded 96 keepers for myself and two people... with the total fish caught around 150 per day.  The Smallmouth trips averaged 47 fish per trip with the average big fish at 4.26 pounds.

Lake Thunderbird in East Norman, holds the state record Saugeye.  The average size caught on trips was 3.7 pounds.  The big fish in 2005 weighed 8 lbs-10 ozs.  The limit is 5 per person.
